Elizabeth City, NC – Three employees of BayFirst Solutions have received distinguished service awards from the United States Coast Guard for outstanding performance in support of the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), one of the company’s consistently recognized teams serving the Department of Homeland Security. The ALC supports 26 Coast Guard aviation units that operate approximately 200 aircraft throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

The BayFirst employees are:

  • Manjunath Jois, a Senior Operations Research Analyst in the Business Intelligence Division of the USCG Business Operations Division, was recognized for the excellent results he produced through “creation of an aircraft rotation strategy for the HC144 aircraft.” Due to his efforts, this critical fleet service life is now better managed with “significant, positive impact to the operational commanders.”
  • Jorge Salazar, a Senior Operations Research Analyst in the Business Intelligence Division of the USCG Business Operations Division, was recognized for his work helping ALC “maximize return on investment through a tumultuous budget environment.” Specifically, his analysis was instrumental in helping the Coast Guard “better negotiate contracts . . . to improve delivery rates for key aircraft components.”
  • Harry Proffitt, a Configuration Management Specialist, ISO, who supports the audit team in the Business Performance Branch of the USCG Business Operations Division, was recognized for his contribution to the successful internal audit of numerous teams working at the Aviation Logistics Center.

The team members received letters of commendation from Cynthia Soules, Deputy of the USCG Business Operations Division, and were presented with their awards at a ceremony in Elizabeth City, NC, earlier this month..

Scott Buttrick, who supervises BayFirst teams supporting the Aviation Logistics Center, noted that each of these employees “contributes meaningfully and consistently to our hard-earned reputation for excellence, innovation, and integrity.  BayFirst is at the critical intersection of technology and efficiency as we help our clients achieve results. It’s an honor to work with these employees and to see their efforts recognized by our Coast Guard client.”
