At BayFirst, Jim leads a team that provides comprehensive programmatic and technical consulting services throughout the Department of Homeland Security, with a goal of achieving sustained operational excellence. He is also actively involved in business development for the firm’s Network Engineering and Cybersecurity, and Strategic Planning and Acquisition service lines. Jim oversees internal operations of the firm for facilities, IT, and security. Prior to joining BayFirst, Jim was a technical director at Nortel Government Solutions, where he led software development and systems engineering engagements for a broad range of high profile federal law enforcement organizations. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
In November 2016, Jim was named a Partner of BayFirst Solutions and became a part owner of the company.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Virginia, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering. He holds post graduate degrees from The George Washington University (Master’s of Information Systems) and The University of Maryland (MBA).
