BayFirst Solutions LLC Wins DHS Small Business Achievement Award
WASHINGTON, DC, April 28, 2015 – BayFirst Solutions, LLC, a homeland security and defense consulting firm, received the 2015 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Small Business Achievement Award for its outstanding work for DHS OneNet Network Architecture and Engineering support services. BayFirst Solutions demonstrated outstanding quality of performance in providing technical support for the design, build, and upgrade of the network systems, ensured that the network security architecture was in compliance with security standards and DHS architectural guidelines and improved the network capabilities to include network modernization and emerging technologies.
“That we were able to exceed milestones and save the federal government hundreds of thousands of dollars with minimal oversight is a true testament to our expertise and understanding of DHS OneNet,” stated BayFirst’ s OneNet Program Manager, Paul Kapalka.
The 11th Annual DHS Small Business Ceremony took place on April 16 at the General Services Administration auditorium in Washington, DC. Gooch received the award on behalf of BayFirst and was accompanied by Kapalka and Senior Vice President Jim Fagan and Vice President Franz Wesner.
