BayFirst Solutions LLC announced today the company was awarded the General Services Administration’s (GSA) $15 billion Alliant 2 Small Business (A2SB) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) that enables the federal government to purchase Information Technology (IT) services from qualifying providers. BayFirst’s award has a five-year base with a five-year extension option.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for BayFirst Solutions to join the ranks of leading companies providing IT services and emerging technologies across the federal government,” Kevin Gooch, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said of the award. “The next decade will present challenges to our nation’s cybersecurity initiatives, IT infrastructure, and big data efforts. BayFirst has intentionally positioned our resources in the IT landscape to meet these challenges and provide strategic support well into the future.”

BayFirst’s Alliant 2 SB GWAC award is a next generation multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity vehicle covering a wide range of IT services and solutions. Years in the making, this new contract vehicle will replace the original Alliant SB, which was first awarded in 2009 and expires in April 2019. This marks the first time BayFirst Solutions has joined the ranks of companies on this government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC).

Founded in 2002, BayFirst Solutions is a strategic management and technology consulting firm that helps government agencies plan, manage, and execute programs that enhance public safety and homeland security.
